Amion
Amion is a cloud-hosted calendar resource for clinicians at SOM. The calendar displays their clinical schedule.

ATLAS.ti
ATLAS.ti is a research program used for qualitative data research and analysis.

- Licenses are annual and expire February 22 each year. Users have 30 day grace period after the license expires to renew.
ByteBloc
This is a cloud-hosted resource, like Amion, that is used to display clinician schedules.
- IT Shared Services (ITSS; School of Medicine IT) does not host this application. They can assist the user with opening their ByteBloc calendar in Outlook, but all other issues need to be directed to the user’s department. There will be an administrator or clinical coordinator in the user’s department that will handle accounts and troubleshooting.

- Emergency Medicine. Direct EMED users to Rachel Aerne (RACHEL.AERNE@CUANSCHUTZ.EDU) if they need their ByteBloc calendar link or if they are receiving an “access denied” error.
- Issues relating to the user adding the ByteBloc calendar to Outlook should be directed to support@medschool.zendesk.com.
DocuSign
The School of Medicine Dean’s Office hosts DocuSign for all School of Medicine and School of Public Health employees. The SOM Dean’s Office provides these licenses at no cost to the users. Please note that this instance of DocuSign is not CFR Part 11 compliant.

Esri ArcGIS
ArcGIS is a desktop (and cloud) program used to create, share, and manage maps, scenes, layers, apps, and other geographical content.
- IT Shared Services (ITSS; School of Medicine IT) hosts and manages ArcGIS for all School of Medicine and School of Public Health users. Licenses are provided at no cost for these users.
GraphPad Prism
Prism (not to be confused with the PRiSM web application) is a commercial scientific 2D graphing and statistics software for both Windows and Mac computers. Prism combines scientific graphing, comprehensive curve fitting (nonlinear regression), understandable statistics, and data organization. It allows you to easily perform basic statistical tests commonly used by laboratory and clinical researchers.
- IT Shared Services (ITSS; School of Medicine IT) hosts and manages GraphPad Prism. Licenses renew in November of each year. License costs are not prorated throughout the year due to ITSS purchasing all of the licenses in bulk. As of 11/2025 the license cost is $103.51.

iLabs
iLabs is a web-based software platform used to manage core facilities, shared resources, and research operations, including scheduling service requests, billing, and inventory management.
- IT Shared Services (ITSS; School of Medicine IT) does not host this application. All support is redirected to OIT at 303-724-4357.
Phillips Intellispace PACS
PACS is a medical imaging system that provides storage and access to images for multiple modalities. Only clinicians with special access can utilize PACS. New users must go through a PACS training with UCH before they gain access to the program.
- PACS is hosted and managed by the PACS team at UCHealth. Their team can be reached at 720-848-XXXX
- IT Shared Services (ITSS; School of Medicine IT) have deployed special systems to Radiologists that they use to perform their reading shifts from home. ITSS worked with the PACS team to ensure these systems are compliant with their security requirements and are set up to access the UCH systems. These systems are unique and are not set up like other systems on campus. Please do not attempt to troubleshoot any issues on these systems.

QGenda
QGenda is a web-hosted application, similar to Amion and ByteBloc, that allow clinicians to view their clinical schedules.

BioRender
BioRender is a web-based program that helps create scientific figures, the tool has a library of 50k scientifically accurate life science icons and templates with drag and drop functionality.
- This license is useable from July 1- June 30 and will be renewed each year in July. Licenses are $200 annually and will not be prorated. Speed type required for purchase.
- IT Shared Services (ITSS; School of Medicine IT) does not provide support for the product, if people need to know how to use it they need to go to BioRender resources.

Qualtrics
Qualtrics provides a cloud-based survey platform allowing organizations to standardize data and surveys. Qualtrics is an approved software providor for forms that collect protected information; this includes information as part of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- IT Shared Services (ITSS; School of Medicine IT) hosts and manages Qualtrics.
- All new forms that collect protected information are required to reside in Qualtrics as of January 2021.

Office 365
- You can access Office 365 applications by logging in at https://office.com. Sign in using your university email address and password. Office 365 is available to install on up to 5 PCs or Macs (and other mobile devices).

To install Office 365 on your device (PC or Mac), go to https://www.microsoft365.com/.
- Sign in wiht your university emaila ddress and you will be redirected to the university SSO login page to enter your university credentials.
- Once logged in, click Install Apps at the top right corner of the page and click Microsoft 365 apps. It will automatically download the proper installer version whether you're on a PC or Mac.
Formstack
Formstack is a form building and data collection tool that can be used to accomplish a wide variety of tasks. You can build forms; configure everything from notification emails to approval workflows and form security; and view, edit, export or manipulate the data which has been submitted via your form.
- IT Shared Services (ITSS; School of Medicine IT) does not provide support for the product.
- OIT manages Formstack and access can be requested by filling up this Form.
Camtasia
Techsmith Camtasia offers a suite of tools to record your computer screen and turn those recordings into professional-grade videos. A license can be requested through the OIT Service Desk or by submitting a request through Cherwell.
- Be sure to review the Camtasia system requirements before using the software.
Calendly and Zoom Integration
Calendly is an online scheduling tool that simplifies the process of booking meetings and appointments.

- CU Anschutz: We can't integrate Calendly accounts with the University Zoom account as the integration violates our business agreement with Zoom as well as violates our HIPAA policy

Cayuse eSirius
Cyuse is used for Animal protocol submission, review and tracking.

This system is used for Grants and contracts routing, submission and tracking. Award tracking. Human subjects protocol submission, review and tracking. Conflict of interest submission, review and tracking. Reporting.

Salesforce
Salesforce will always have different instances spread across the Universities, depending on the School, College, or department in question. Please collect information on what department the user is with and if they are a new or existing Salesforce user.
Because of this, if someone has Salesforce specific questions be sure to connect with Heather Vigeveno on Teams for support and clarification. She can inform you on a specific point of contact.
IMPORTANT- The CRM-Salesforce escalation path in Cherwell will not escalate tickets correctly. Because of this, please connect with Heather for clarification on these tickets.
If users from the School of Medicine are having issues with Salesforce, you can have them email salesforce@cumedicine.us.
Skype
Service Desk if you get a call for skype for the business not working you can do the following:
make sure to exit skype.
go into windows credential manager and delete anything that has SIP in it.

Slate
The CRM-Slate escalation path (Customer Relation Management) is almost always the correct path for most troubleshooting in the app.
The rare exception is IDM-related account issues.

SPSS License
This link will actually come from OIT for CU Boulder, as they issue these licenses (https://oit.colorado.edu/software-hardware/site-licenses/spss). For assistance, contact help@colorado.edu or 303-735-4357Unfortunately, CU Denver OIT is not directly involved in SPSS licensing.
To install spss you will need authorization key (provided in an email after purchase). After install, make sure 'Run Authorization Wizard" is checked and supply the authorization key.

PROCTORIO
The URL to download the proctorio browser plugin (which is needed for usage of this tool) is here: https://getproctorio.com/
After you've installed the plugin, you'll go to the course you want it implemented on, then select 'Settings' from the left-hand menu. Once in 'Settings' find the 'Apps' tab, and search for 'Proctorio' and select that option.
